29th Annual Fishing Tournament

Bastille Day Kingfish Tournament will be held on July 16 this year at the Hull Bay Hideaway in St. Thomas.  Celebrate the French holiday with amazing food, drinks, and fantastic fishing. This event will include over $13,000 in prizes. The angler with the largest kingfish at the tournament will win $2,000 cash.

Come out and join in the fun from 5:30 AM- 9 PM. The 29th Annual event is sure to be fun for all ages.  The Northside Sportfishing Club will host the event and it is open the public. Fishing & Fun For All

Whether you are a local or a vacationer here for the week, don’t miss this sports fishing tournament. There are sure to be tons of great catches and plenty of fun from early morning into the nighttime.

Even if you are not a very experienced angler, you can join a boat and take your friends and family out to compete.  You will not have to go far out into the ocean to make your catches.  Simply stay inshore and reel in your fish!

Do not worry about getting the biggest catch. Besides the $2,000 cash prize for the winner, there are also plenty of other great prizes for participants.  Get a little competitive fishing between 5:30 and 12 pm and you may win a little cash or a gift card from a variety of delicious St. Thomas restaurants. There are even prizes for junior anglers, ages 8- 16 years old.

After the fishing wraps up at noon and the announcing of the winners at the weigh in occur, celebrate with live music from local bands, great food, and dancing. Shop local vendors set up along the beach. The awards ceremony is at 8 pm.

If you can’t make it out to this event, come out to the July Open Billfish Tournament instead.  This fishing tournament will occur over the July full moon, when the most fish catching happens.
